We are a fast-growing oil and gas trading group of company PANASIA GROUP, seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Deputy Chief Accountant to join our team remotely. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards Perform financial analysis and reporting for Management Review Revenue management and debtors control Analysing financial discrepancies and recommending effective resolutions Monitor cash flow and ensure relevant documentation for made transactions Conduct bank reconciliations Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies Implement and improve financial policies, procedures, and internal controls Support statutory audits, provide and prepare the necessary information for audit purposes, follow-up on audit findings and recommendations CIT calculations under the UAE law E-invoicing Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior accounting staff Report directly to and provide comprehensive support to the Chief Accountant in overseeing the group's financial health Key Requirements: Fluency in both English and Russian languages Strong background in accounting with a minimum (6) years of experience in progressively responsible financial leadership roles preferably in the gas and oil industry A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance & business Strong attention to details Solid and practical foundation in IFRS accounting principles Proficient in modern accounting software and an advanced user of MS Excel (must be highly comfortable with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data modelling) Ability to be proactive, detail-oriented, and manage multiple tasks efficiently Analytical mind and strong logical thinking skills with a perfectionist’s eye for detail Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills We offer a position in a dynamic team with international exposure and growth opportunities.
